Press ReleasesBringing Families Together for March Frozen Food Month March 2010 Mission Viejo, CA—The Southern California Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Council (SCFRC) is hitting close to home with its 2010 March National Frozen Food Month promotion – Bringing Families Together with Easy Home Meals. As preparing more meals at home experiences a revival among consumers, this campaign incorporates the growing trend by explaining the benefits of frozen foods and the quality of meal solutions for all occasions.
Among the highlights of this family mealtime theme is a one-page FSI and the "Win a Laptop Computer Sweepstakes." The southern California FSI will be distributed to over 4.2 million homes on February 28, 2010, showcasing coupons and product shots of the participating sponsors and the Bringing Families Together theme. The National Association is hosting a $10,000 Easy Home Meals Sweepstakes located on NFRA’s consumer website, www.EasyHomeMeals.com. Announcements promoting the FSI and sweepstakes will be found among many sources, including SCFRC’s e-newsletter, on participating manufacturer and retailer websites, and in-store displays.
SCFRCis a non-profit trade association representing all segments of the frozen and refrigerated foods industry. Headquartered in Orange County, CA, SCFRC also launches promotions for June/July Ice Cream & Novelties and October Frozen & Refrigerated Foods. # # #
Breakfast is Donated and Served at a Home for Abused Children Orange, Calif.: Celebrating March National Frozen Food Month, as a community service, Southern California Frozen & Refrigerated Foods Council (SCFRC) members donated, cooked, and served breakfast to kids at Orangewood Children’s Home, a home for abused and neglected children ages 0 – 18 years. Established in 1952, SCFRC is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Frozen & Refrigerated foods industry and its community. # # #
